Evangeline Lilly lines up Robot Movie
That was fast! Lost has yet to air its final episode, but Evangeline Lilly has already landed a role in a sci-fi movie alongside Hugh Jackman and Anthony Mackie, according to Variety.
Real Steel, directed by Shawn Levy (Date Night, Night at the Museum), stars Jackman as an ex-fighter in a world where boxers are replaced by giant robots that compete in gladiator style battles. Lilly will play one of his friends, while Mackie will play a boxing promoter.
The film — produced by Steven Spielberg and Robert Zemeckis (Forrest Gump) — is based on the short story by Richard Matheson that was adapted into a classic episode of The Twilight Zone starring Lee Marvin.

Huch, schon wieder Steven Spielberg?
Wie witzig, grad diese Woche habe ich mir noch mal intensiv "Back to the Future" von Robert Zemeckis angesehen.
Und Richard Matheson, der Knabe ist mir auch ein Begriff. Alles ein bisschen länger her (60, 70 Jahre?), der hat z.B. die "The Incredible Shrinking Man" und die Original Story von "I Am Legend" geschrieben.

Mittlerweile gibt es auch einen ersten Trailer, allerdings dauert es fast noch ein ganzes Jahr, bis der Film n die deutschen Kinos kommt.

Klingt nach Bullshit, aber wenn seine Finger im Spiel hat, sollte man nicht voreilig urteilen.

Ich hab den Film gestern gesehen und fand ich okay. War nettes Popcorn-Kino und die Tricks waren auch gut. Evis Rolle war auch nicht ganz so unscheinbar, wie ich durch die Trailer erwartet hätte.
